Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have become proud parents of a baby girl. The actress gave birth to a girl this morning at the Seven Hills hospital in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb.
An ecstatic Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl !!" While first-time dad Abhishek tweeted, "IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! :)))))"
Ash was accompanied to the hospital by her parents Vrinda and Krishnaraj Rai, brother Aditya, husband Abhishek and in-laws Amitabh, Jaya and Shweta Nanda.

The news of Ash's pregnancy was broken by Amitabh Bachchan through Twitter in June this year. As Bollywood's first family and their well-wishers celebrated the Big B received over 2000 congratulatory tweets the same day and people thronged the Bachchan residence in Juhu to celebrate.
The Bachchans chose a suburban hospital for the delivery, presumably to avoid media glare. While TV news channels, on their part, had agreed to stay away from the developments, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry had ordered television media not to park their vans outside the hospital.

With moist eyes and prayers, Shammi Kapoor's family members and friends bid goodbye to the veteran actor at his funeral at the Ban Ganga cremation ground in Mumbai Monday morning 14th August.
Nephew Randhir Kapoor, grandnieces Karisma and Kareena, co-star Amitabh Bachchan, director Imtiaz Ali and many more visited the Blue Heaven Society on Malabar Hill to pay tribute to Shammi Kapoor, who breathed his last Sunday morning at the Breach Candy Hospital. He was 79.

Priyanka Chopra, one of the most recognized talents in Indian cinema, is a recipient of the prestigious Indian National Film Awards amongst many others. She is acknowledged as one of the most versatile actors with many path breaking performances. Priyanka is also actively involved in her role as the National Ambassador for UNICEF in India and the Green Ambassador of a nationwide environment awareness campaign in India.

Nothing disagrees with success, and Katrina Kaif seems to have hit that purple patch of Bollywood form where she can do no wrong.
She's churning out hits by the bucketload -- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Raajneeti, De Dana Dan and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani were all successes of varying degree -- and even a universally panned film like Tees Maar Khan did wonders for Katrina as she set the screen ablaze with her Sheila routine.She's apparently single now, and unencumbered bySalman Khan, her sex appeal seems to be going right through the roof. Just ask the mangoes she sells so, so well.
