Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata Dutt became proud parents of a boy and girl. Manyata delivered the babies, a boy and a girl, at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai this afternoon.
Manyata was recently seen at the 'Mata Ki Chowki', function held in the Dutt household, telling those gathered that the twins were all set to put their small feet into the world.
Sanjay has a daughter named Trisha from his first marriage to late actress Richa Sharma. Trishala lives in the US and has just received her graduation certificate.
The 51-year-old actor in one of his recent interviews said things started looking up ever since Manyata had come into his life. Meanwhile congratulory messages have started pouring in from the film fraternity for the new arrivals.
Amisha Patel, who is a close friend of both Sanjay and Manyata tweeted about the birth of the twins. At the hospital. Maanayata just delivered. One boy one girl. Congrats to Sanju n maana. Sooo happy for them. Babies n mom both safe.

Hollywood is finally getting to know A.R. Rahman, the short, humble and deeply religious man who took two Oscars home to southern India for his work on "Slumdog Millionaire."
In the eight months since Slumdog's surprise Oscar sweep, Rahman has survived the rage of felicitation that hit him when he returned to India — even the prime minister offered his congratulations — and embarked on countless lunches with studio executives in L.A. eager to match him with that perfect new film.
In between, he's managed to score two movies, hatched plans with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics to start a band, and is putting together a new solo album.
